A New Puppy to Love!

I swam in the pool this weekend,yeah! It was finally hot enough and the pool is cool but good enough as I was antsy to get in. I was the first one to go in this year. My son usually goes first but he has a cold and now today I am feeling like I am getting a sore throat. You know how it feels like something is irritating your throat slowly,painfully,swallow after swallow. I hope it goes away when I wake up tomorrow. Hubby and I went and got chili tonight for supper. It was our alone time as the boys were gone to work.It was also cool weather again. We had a late night yesterday as Father's Day was a cookout treat by my older son and his wife.The weather was great as it was 80 out. We had chicken breasts and grilled garlic and buttered shrimp on skewers. It was a very nice, enjoyable day. We saw all the boys home and I got to read my magazines and relax too. My hubby's way to relax is to do remodeling and home repair or work on fixing something. He is a go-getter. I am amazed at all he does. He put in a new window on the back enclosed porch. I forgot to mention our new puppy. His name is Lucky and he is a Shih Tzu too. I wanted to put a picture before I blogged about him but I haven't taken any yet and a few weeks have gone by. He is a brown chubby little fella with a black mustache and he is cute! I really wasn't sure if I would get a golden retriever or another little doggie and when I saw him I knew I had to have him. He is very tiny for his age,I bet he will be smaller than Cissy, my littlest one. These dogs love water so we have their own baby pool set up for them. They love it when I refill it with new water too and Zeke will lay in it when he gets hot.Lucky needs help to get in and out.
