Favre and the Packers

I have been listening to the news about Brett Favre and his potential unretirement. I don't know if he will stay retired or if he will come back to Green Bay or even go elsewhere and play for another team. My opinion is that he should of made his mind up before this and not went thru the whole retirement part but since he did I think he is telling the truth. He has given his dues to the Packers that is a fact. He is exciting to watch play and I will root for him wherever he plays. I love football and I can learn to love another team too. I am able to do that for Brett but some can't and I realize that as he does and he has even said as much. He brings an excitement to the game that few players have for me. I am sure whatever happens it will all be ok but it is the only thing exciting in sports right now so the media is going crazy about it. As for Ted Thompson, I think he will have a lot more to prove to the Packer fans now as so far he hasn't done anything. He sure isn't a Ron Wolf. The radio guys here are always talking about Brett as is our local news. We all have our opinions and it has torn some neighbors to arguing about it all. I know at work we all have our own ideas as to what should happen ,what could happen and how it will happen. Saturday is the Frank Winters presentation where Brett is to give him his award. Some say he will show and some say he won't go. Frank says he will be there for him. The Packer organization should be there too so maybe it will all get straightened out between them.
more soon: got to go for an evening swim.

Hello fellow cheddar head!! I found your blog from Mom Bloggers Club.

Farve is a touchy subject and it is causing alot of havic. Personally, I've lost respect for him. He had to know that he wasn't going to stay retired. What he's doing is causing more harm than good. My hope is that somehow, everyone can come back together and that the fans keep supporting the team. I'd be thrilled if Farve helped the team in some aspect and worked with the new qb.

Only time will tell and heal this. We just all have to believe and not give up on Farve or the Packers
