A New Frugal Year

This is my second year of actively getting coupons and using them. I hope to save a lot more by smarter shopping. I won't do every deal I see as they really do come back around. I have a small stockpile started which is exciting. I use a reusable cloth shopping bag to carry plastic pocket sleeves filled with different categories of clipped coupons. I carry coupons that could pop up in any store in my purse that I know I will definitely try to use or really want to use. I also put in the weeks register reward coupons-Walgreen's and extra care bucks coupons-CVS to help me with that weeks dealies if I have them. When I go to Copps Food Center,SuperValu,Target and Festival Foods I will stuff coupons I find such as tearpad coupons, blinkie coupons and peelies in a special sleeve I have for them. Later I will take all those out and sort them into their right category pocket or put in my purse if its a great coupon I know I want to use soon. I have added quite a few categories as my stock of coupons grew to a bulk if I left it to just health and beauty and other basic categories. It is much easier this way to pull out just the deodorant coupons to find Tag deodorant than if it was mixed in with all the other areas. I also kind of have a clue as to what coupons are out there but believe me I still find lots of new and cool coupons. This week I found one for WD-40 and a peelie for Buy one get one ChiChi's meal. I think it is wise to get food deals at a variety of stores as it worked this way last year for me. I just have to be more vigilant at reading up on the sales for each store and getting my coupons ready for that week.
more soon: got to clip my coupons.

Sounds like a plan girl!

I am way behind on mine!

Everyday I think I will get them "put away" but I'm always getting side tracked and it doesn't happen.

Sure wish we had some of those stores here! Lucky You!
