American Idol,Top 13 tonight, my review!

I think Pia,Jacob,Casey and James are in the lead for the top spots. Lauren did a Shania Twain which over the years her songs do not do well and although Lauren's tone was good the song was just not a good choice. I know she wants to go country after this but Carrie Underwood did not sing all country on Idol to remind us of her countryness so I think Lauren needs to take a break from country and really show us if she is better than Pia vocally and really show us what she can do. Pia sang a Celine Dion song and did not disappoint me and it was as strong as last week and the audience is growing fond of her and she is very pretty. Jacob also belted out the vocals on "I Believe I Can Fly" and we all love to hear his voice. Casey moved and grooved  a Joe Cocker's hit and he showed us more of his awesome personality. I think Paul played it a little safe and basically did the same big beautiful smile and dance as last week. Scotty did Garth Brooks and did it well. James sang Paul McCartney and showed us he has a good tone and can sing as well as hit the very high notes.Karen did not show me any great performance but the song was ok for her. The producer told Stefano to open his eyes and I really don't think he took his advice to well as it made me notice how much he does close his eyes and he really doe not need to do this but the song was a Stevie Wonder song and he really did it his way. Naima moved with ease and sounded real well on her choice of a Rihanna's "Umbrella" song and showed us more of her personality which I really enjoyed and she is taking it all in and being so cool and such a natural beauty.Hayley did  Leanne Rimes "Blue". I think it fit her vocals but she could of picked an even better choice with the millions of songs out there.Ashthon did a Diana Ross song and Randy did have to tell her she reminded him of her but alas she did not sing or put any of her diva-ness into it. Thia also took to heart what Randy said about her reminding him of Michael Jackson and sang "Smile". I think the first part was great like the judges all agreed on but we all did not like the jazzy part of it and this is because she possibly can't be heard well with music playing? I think Jacob need to find better suit coats or just forget the suit all together and be in style. Lauren looked like her age in her choice of clothes but the top made her look a bit top heavy. Ashthon wore a gown as did Pia,Karen and Thia and they all looked ok. Casey wore tube socks with plaid shorts in his rehearsals,ugh! The suit he wore on stage seemed a little small or tight,like he could rip it if he stretched. Hayley wore a sexy short dress. James wore cool rocker clothes minus his tail. Stefano wore normal hip clothes as did Naima with some rockin' boots.Paul had a hip jacket on and boots that look cool on him. Scotty wore another country button down shirt and jeans and he had it untucked. I think Stefano still may be in trouble and Thia.
