The Green Bay Packers are smoking hot. Brett has seemed to recover from his sore elbow and his left shoulder is slow to mend but it doesn't seem to slow his throws down or his accuracy. We may make it to the big show, the Super Bowl! I don't know,I am real hopeful.
I just took some pictures of my pets in their red Christmas sweaters I made them. I hope they turn out. It is Zeke, minnie and Cissy all posing by the lighted Christmas tree. I always wanted something like this so I will be thrilled if it looks fabulous darling! Besides all that I read a few blogs. I don't have anything to gripe about or complain about. We are doing the best we can for the money we have available and some money on credit that will bite us in the ass in January. I wish I would win a contest and get us out of debt. My Mom always wanted to win Publisher's Clearing House when she was alive, she never found out they didn't give out all that money, but somehow they are on the internet still to this day. My Mom was a crafty person, she was an excellant cook too. She died when she was forty-five years old. I was twenty-one and pregnant when I found out my Mom had cancer. I was married and pregnant with my second son. I couldn't even be there as I was way up in Alaska with my husband and he was stationed there. We didn't have any money for me to fly back to Utah. My Mom held on till I had my son then two days later she passed on. I held it together pretty well for awhile,I had my sons to care for and they helped me as did time. My Mom was my best friend. We talked long distance alot, she missed her first grandson alot too. She was the best Grandma ever the short time she was. She sewed clothes, made blankets and all sorts of toys were sent. I guess it must be the holidays that bring her memory up, I didn't really plan on talking about her but I am glad I did. Gosh, she would be sixty-eight if alive today. Time flies, it really does.

Books on the web
I have a new obsession ,finding books online to read.I discovered quite by accident as I usually do strolling thru webland that there are many many great authors out there that want you to buy their book, read their book, or win their book. I really didn't read alot in the last 10 years.I still found and bought books at rummages and stores but not alot. Now I am deciding its time to do a little me time and the thing I am enjoying is finding books and not just any old book either. I never knew I liked paranormal books but I found out thru reading a few excerpts that I do enjoy it. I also like the new werewolf and vampire books out there and there are all kinds of new romance books.I like the erotica books too, they really get down in those and reading about a woman loving a woman or guy loving a guy is ok. I don't really know if what a guy likes with another guy is basically what a woman likes from a man but these books sure do tell you some things.I always liked history and historical romance has always been a favorite of mine. My new site I enjoy alot is called Author Island. It has alot of authors and contests too.Yahoo.com has groups.I started finding alot of book groups that are real fun to join and they basically have authors they interview online and you get to ask the author anything you want. I have learned alot of these authors are really nice and fun people and alot of them have mini contests for e books and such. I am not a real winning type of person but I have won a couple of times! I now want to own a palm book reader so I can put books on it and read anywhere! I hope to get one for my birthday in February.
more soon: going to go read!

Snowy Days Ahead
Snow is coming here tonight. The forecaster on my local news says it will be a more than the usual snowfall season. I already had a few problems with the snow. Where I work I am the earliest to arrive, on Monday we had 6 inches in our work parking lot unplowed! My boss is on vacation and I am wondering what happened. Our parking lot is divided with another business and theirs is plowed nicely. I go in and decide to do just the area by our doors. I am not dressed to shovel for very long either so my choice was the best I could do. Two days later we find out our contract says: the owner of the building is responsible for snow removal till the end of December! We already talked to the other business next to us and she told me that her plow driver would swipe our area for free. I thanked her and believe we need to get her a gift for Christmas as well as her driver. It has since snowed and their driver did a superb job of getting us our parking spots nice and clear. I no longer have to spin my tires to go in and out, yeah!
My little shih tzu's are my little alarm clocks gone wild! The second my alarm goes off I am pummeled by two little fur balls. They dance, they jump, they hop, they fly, anything to get me to pet their moppy heads and tell them "OK' I am up! I am not a morning person. I start every morning sleepy, groggy and in desperate need of a hot shower to help me to move freely, and a hot cup of coffee to help me to speak nicely. My husband is just the opposite. He doesn't need an alarm clock, he wakes up humming a happy tune! He is refreshed and even more perky after his shower. One of our sons is a clone and wakes up the same way. He loves to make his own monster egg sandwich, he is a very happy boy. I am lucky that way for sure. I go out in the fresh morning air and it really doesn't wake me up but I love to see my dogs run and play as if tomorrow they won't or I am sure you know what I mean, dogs love to run and breathe the air. The little ones don't like the coldness on their feet for very long though. I don't know if other little dog owners have the same problem but my little ones start to dangle one leg up to not touch the snowy ground. It looks to me like they get one toe so cold they hang it up to warm it up or something. They don't like it out there for very long in the low temps, me either. I have their little jackets they wear, one will usually wear a fleece jacket and the other the leather flight jacket with fur collar. She is ready to pilot any plane. Right now I have a dog blanket placed next to my computer desk. The two little ones and my little Muffin kitty are sleeping together. Zeke, my Shepard is dozing by the entrance to this room always guarding even in his sleep. Ditto my other cat is independant. He likes to show me he loves me when I am going to my bedroom to get dressed. He will sprawl on the floor like a big blob. He rolls lazily and stretches his best stretch to catch my eye. He likes to get his belly and chest rubbed. I pick him up and then his day is good. He will then stroll off to see the rest of the house. He is my royalty cat. He believes he is gay as when he was little I thought he was a girl. He heard princess too many times and he also believes he is part dog. Hence, that is why he likes to roll for the belly rub.
more soon; his royal highness knows he was mentioned and is demanding to be petted.

I am Mellow Yellow !
Hello, November sure flew by fast. I am feeling a little pressure to start my Christmas shopping, but the boys are just starting to give me ideas as to what they really want. My youngest son wants a Zune. Another son wants Packer gear and another one wants a snowboard. I really want a digital camera as I finally got a printer, copier, scanner that I just love and now I want to try a digital camera. I really am not a gadget - type of person. I love perfume, body lotion, and the simpler types of things. I have been lately going to Yahoo and searching all the groups on there. I signed up for some of the book ones.My favorite one is Author Island. It is very interesting for me. I also have been adding new authors I found on myspace. If you have a myspace, stop and add me.
I got my yearly pap test last Friday and tomorrow I go for an ultrasound. I had one ovary taken out about a year ago and my doctor wants to make sure everything is ok down there. I will take a half day off tomorrow.
My son and I played a game of cribbage today. I won,hee hee! My husband and my youngest son who is 15 built a snowman in back! I was amazed , as my hubby really hasn't done that sort of thing since the kids were little. We did get about 5 inches of snow last night and it was our first big snowfall so they were all a little excited. My husband couldn't get his big blower to stay running so he used the littler one. I wish he would of let the boys do it as he really doesn't get two days off in a row so his body needs time to relax. He pushes himself too much sometimes and it worries me. I guess I worry too much but its only because I care. I joined Kaboodle.com as it has a wish list contest. If they pick your wish list you get everything on it for Christmas. That would be a dream come true! I am not the lucky type if there is a profile for dreamer its me! I started to dream at an early age, I dreamt of a prince charming,a knight in shining armor, a muscular man to take me in his arms and whisper sweet nothings. I wanted to not be shy and dreamt I was Miss Popular. I would have to say I am glad that never came true as I wouldn't be who I am today if that would of happened.
more soon; off to read a fairy tale.
